Dr. Callahan is a 1986 graduate of Life University in Atlanta Georgia. She moved to Jonesboro in 1991 to help establish Callahan Chiropractic, and became owner of the clinic in 1996. She holds a bachelors degree from the University of the State of New York, and is certified by Logan College in Acupuncture.
She originally hails from Chicago, and still loves to spend summer days in the sand dunes of northern Michigan. Dr. Deb loves to ride horses, lives on a farm, and shows and trains successfully in the Olympic discipline of dressage. Her life long love of horses inspired her to develop natural methods of equine health treatments.
She comes from a musical family, and she loves music, plays guitar, tongue drum, digeridoo, and other folk instruments.
Originally an art student, she spent a summer studying at the Art Institute of Chicago, and a year at Purdue University before deciding to become a chiropractor. She still loves to paint and draw.
Dr. Deb stays fit by hiking, jogging, riding horses, and yoga. ( You might see her in a 5k!) She's a vegetarian and will be happy to answer your questions about a meatless diet.
